What Is Know Your Transaction (KYT)?

ODIX Pay is committed to maintaining the highest compliance and security standards within the digital asset ecosystem. To ensure safe, transparent, and compliant transactions, ODIX Pay has implemented a comprehensive Know Your Transaction (KYT) monitoring system designed to identify and prevent high-risk or suspicious activities.


Prohibited Activities

ODIX Pay strictly prohibits users from using its services for any illegal activities, including but not limited to money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other unlawful activities.

To maintain a secure financial environment, ODIX Pay conducts real-time KYT screenings on user transactions. If suspicious, prohibited, or potentially illegal activities are detected, ODIX Pay may take appropriate actions, including but not limited to:

  • Restricting or suspending accounts
  • Delaying or rejecting transactions
  • Freezing funds where required by law
  • Requesting additional information or documentation
  • Reporting suspicious activities to relevant regulatory authorities

ODIX Pay reminds users that the following activities are strictly prohibited:


Violation of Economic Sanctions

Engaging in transactions that may violate applicable economic or trade sanctions administered by:

  • Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), 
  • United Nations Security Council (UNSC), 
  • European Union (EU), 
  • United Kingdom Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI)
  • Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), 
  • Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), 
  • Any other applicable sanctions authorities where ODIX Pay operates.

Transactions involving sanctioned persons, entities, wallets, blockchain addresses, or jurisdictions may be restricted, suspended, or rejected.

ODIX Pay is committed to preventing financial crime and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.


Transactions Related to Illegal Activities

Using ODIX Pay services for transactions involving illegal activities, including but not limited to:

  • Fraud 
  • Stolen funds 
  • Ransomware payments 
  • Scams 
  • Terrorist financing 
  • Human trafficking 
  • Child exploitation 
  • Other unlawful activities 

Transactions involving wallets or blockchain addresses associated with the above activities may be investigated, restricted, suspended, or rejected.


High-Risk Blockchain Activities

ODIX Pay monitors blockchain transactions for exposure to high-risk services and activities, including but not limited to:

  • Cryptocurrency mixers and tumblers 
  • Privacy-enhancing services
  • Darknet marketplaces 
  • High-risk exchanges 
  • High-risk jurisdictions 
  • Other blockchain activities identified as high-risk through KYT monitoring tools

Additional Verification

To comply with applicable AML/CFT regulations and internal compliance requirements, ODIX Pay may request additional information or documentation before processing certain transactions.

 

This may include:

  • Source of Funds (SoF)
  • Source of Wealth (SoW)
  • Purpose of Transaction
  • Proof of ownership of blockchain wallet addresses
  • Supporting documents related to the transaction

Failure to provide the requested information may result in transaction delays, restrictions, suspension, or rejection.


Unusual or Irregular Transaction Patterns

Engaging in transaction activities that appear suspicious or lack a legitimate purpose, including but not limited to:

  • Withdrawing funds immediately after a deposit without a legitimate business or personal reason 
  • Conducting transactions inconsistent with normal account activity 
  • Rapid movement of funds through multiple wallets 
  • Structuring transactions to avoid monitoring thresholds 
  • Circular movement of funds 
  • Transaction patterns inconsistent with the customer's expected profile

 

Sanctions Screening Review

A sanctions screening match does not automatically mean that a user is subject to sanctions.

Where appropriate, ODIX Pay will conduct additional compliance reviews before making a final decision.

ODIX Pay reserves the right to update this policy at any time to reflect changes in applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, internal risk assessments, or operational requirements. The latest version of this policy will be published on the ODIX Pay website.
